The Kilimanjaro Rifle is our flagship offering, and is hand-crafted to be handed down generation to generation. As a full custom bolt-action rifle, every detail, component and feature (from stock geometry, choice of action and barrel, and other features) is subject to customization and your individual specifications. The base package set forth below is simply the starting point for your own unique rifle.
Both the Kilimanjaro and the Serengeti Rifle feature a fully customized Turkish Walnut stock fit precisely to your specifications, dimensions and desires in accordance with our “All Custom - All The Time” philosophy. The Kilimanjaro and Serengeti differ, however, in that the Kilimanjaro features a more highly figured grade of Turkish Walnut, our premier Diamond Fleur checkering, a more expensive action as part of the base package, and features such as NECG iron sights and a Vais Muzzle Break as standard.
Starting from your choice of one of our many standard stock geometries, we then customize that geometry to your individual specifications.

Stealth Lamination:
Our proprietary Stealth Lamination provides greater strength and stability while preserving the full figure, grain and beauty of the wood. It provides all the benefits of a synthetic stock but with the beauty and superior feel of highly figured real wood. You may also choose an un-laminated solid wood stock if you prefer.
Best Grade Turkish Walnut Stock:
Choose your wood blank from our available inventory of Best Grade Turkish Walnut Stocks shown on our Wood Blanks page, or located specially for you. Best Grade Exhibition and Best Grade Premier stock upgrades are available as options.
Diamond Fleur Wrap-Around Checkering:
The Kilimanjaro Rifle includes our trademark Diamond Fleur Wrap-Around Checkering—all done by hand—as standard, but with other checkering patterns available as options.
Museum Grade Wood Finish:
Our Museum Grade wood finish is the finest and most beautiful in the industry, and is designed specifically for rugged field use. This finest finish procedure, achieved during our extensive research and development efforts, requires no less than two months of effort from start to finish.
Exact Wood To Metal Fit :
Our fine Turkish Walnut stocks are precisely fitted to and mated with the action and barrel by hand in this most time consuming step of the production process, and is key to meeting our stringent accuracy standards.
Action:
The Kilimanjaro improved version of the Sako 85 Action is standard, but your choice at no extra cost of the Serengeti action, or Kilimanjaro improved versions of the Weatherby Mark V action, Stiller Predator action, or Kimber actions. Dakota, Satterlee and other actions are available as an extra cost option. Any commercially available or customer provided action is possible with price on request.
Chambering:
Virtually any cartridge chambering is possible, including most wild-cats. Cartridge selection may affect choice of geometry and action.
Barrel:
A match grade stainless steel barrel to your specification of length, contour, twist and crown is included. Lilja barrels are standard, but your choice of barrel makers.
Serekote Ceramic Metal Coating:
Kilimanjaro’s premium Serekote ceramic metal coating is standard in your choice of colors, providing excellent metal and corrosion protection in an elegant non-glare finish for field use. Other metal finishes are available on request, including color-case hardening, bluing, and bead blast finishes.
Quality Assurance, Testing & Load Development:
Rigorous quality assurance throughout the production process is provided with multiple pre-final and final tests. Full barrel conditioning (break-in) and load development with test target and ballistic chart for the recommended load are standard
Delivery Package:
Kilimanjaro’s Deluxe Delivery Package is standard including a Pelican 1750 hard case with a premium Elite Survival Systems soft case fitted in the lid. Your rifle arrives ready to hunt and packed ready for the plane to your hunting destination.
Other Features:
The Kilimanjaro Rifle also comes standard with bolt jewelling, shadow-line cheek piece, Ebony or Ironwood fore-end tip and grip cap, two action cross-bolts with Ebony or Ironwood caps, Dakota style in-let swivel studs, Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad in your choice of thickness and color, Talley Quick Detachable scope rings & bases, NECG iron sights, and a removable Vais muzzle break & thread cap. Many other options are available on request.
