Serengeti Stockworks specializes in the production of fine solid wood rifle stocks. Our stocks are made of high-quality solid walnuts, including Bastogne, California English and California Claro in four grades. What sets our stocks apart from production and other custom wood stocks is our proprietary lamination process called ACRA-BondTM. It offers the discriminating sportsman the beauty and feel of a classic, fine solid wood stock while being virtually impervious to the accuracy-robbing warping effects of temperature and moisture changes. ACRA-BondTM lamination provides the stability and weather resistance advantages of conventional laminated and synthetic stocks without the "plywood" look of other laminated stocks, or the "plain Jane" look of synthetic stocks.
Fully-Finished & Rough-Finished Stocks
We produce solid walnut, precision-fit rifle stocks finished to varied degrees of completion, in a number of different geometries, depending upon your preferences. Choose a fully-inletted, fully finished stock precision-fit to your action. Then add custom options such as checkering, forends, buttplates, etc. Do-it-yourselfers, custom stockbuilders and gunsmiths may wish to select a semi-inletted, semi-shaped unfinished stock if you prefer to do the finish work yourself. Raw Walnut Wood Blanks
We also have a large selection of beautiful raw walnut blanks available for custom stock builders, gunsmiths and do-it-yourself woodworkers. Other wood species may be available on a limited basis.
